MANDATORY SHOW ATTENDANCE AND MANDATORY SHOW
You, as a memeber who wants to receive an award, will have to work a total of 3 hours during the 2007
competition year. There will be a sign up sheet at every race and you can sign in the time that
you want to work. You can arrange the time anyway you want.
EXAMPLE: You can work 1 hour at one show.
4 shows work 30 min. Doing it that way you have worked at 5 shows and your mandatory
show help is finished.
You also may have someone work for you. However they must put YOUR NAME down on the
work schedule. You have got to make sure that you write your name down on the sign up sheet due to the fact
if you worked, we may not see it and you will not get credit for it due to the fact that your name is not on the paperwork.
It is your responsibility to show a person who is working for you how to set a barrel correctly
and how to use the gate correctly.
ROPES ALWAYS GO ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BARREL, CLOSEST TO THE FENCE. THE GATE MUST BE CLOSED WHEN A HORSE
ENTERS THE ARENA AND LOCKED. THE GATE MUST REMAINED CLOSED DURING THE SETTING OF A KNOCKED DOWN BARREL, SO A PERSON WHO IS
READY TO RUN ACCIDENTALLY DOES NOT ENTER THE ARENA AT A RUN.
